DAY 1.-ARRIVAL IN LIMA

According to your arrival time, the city tour can be scheduled, otherwise we will only visit the magical water park at night, which is considered one of the largest in the world, here you will be able to appreciate the beautiful fountains, take many photos and why not take a dip.
DAY 2.- LIMA – PARACAS
Free time in the morning to visit some attractions in Lima, in the afternoon we will travel by bus to Paracas, the trip lasts approximately 3 hours and a half, Paracas was the cradle of a great pre-Inca civilization and that today houses a protected natural reserve and the Ballestas Islands which is known as the Galapagos of Peru.

DAY 3.- ISLAS BALLESTAS – HUACACHINA OASIS - NASCA
Our first stop is the Paracas National Reserve for a tour of the Ballestas Islands to see the amazing array of wildlife that inhabit them. southward, we head out into the desert to visit the oasis of Huacachina for lunch and some sand board and dune buggy fun. We then continue our way down to Nasca.

DAY 4.- NASCA – OVERNIGHT BUS TO AREQUIPA
In Nazca you have the opportunity to take a flight over the mysterious Nazca lines as well as an optional tour of Cahuachi Pyramids, Cantalloc Aqueducts or Chauchilla Pre Inca Cemetery, where you can see the incredible well preserved ancient mummies.

DAY 5.-AREQUIPA
“The White City”, gives you only a small amount of time to explore this amazing city. Situated at the foot of El Misti Volcano, Arequipa is one of the most picturesque cities in South America. Here you can visit the beautiful Cathedral, Santa Catalina Convent with it’s cobbled streets, cloisters and decorative building this is an opportunity not to be missed. As well as visit the Santuarios Andinos Museum, where you can see the Ice Mummy Juanita, a 12-14 year old girl who was sacrificed at the top of a nearby volcano.

DAY 6.- AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON
Today we continue our journey through the barren Andean landscape on our way to the Colca Canyon. Twice as deep as the Grand Canyon, the Colca Canyon is the 2nd deepest canyon in the World. Along the road we will see a lot of llamas, Alpacas and some vicuñas. After long day on the road, a visit to the local hot springs (optional) is the perfect way to relax.

DAY 7.- COLCA CANYON – CHIVAY – PUNO
An early morning start sees us head out to the Cruz del Condor lookout point, where you can take in the amazing views as condors soar overhead. Then it’s time to go to Puno in the afternoon.

DAY 8.- PUNO – UROS ISLAND – AMANTANI
Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. At 3855 meters above sea level, Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world.
Today it’s out onto the lake to visit the floating reed islands of the Uros, then onto Amantani island, where we stay overnight with local families.

DAY 9.- TAQUILE ISLAND – PUNO
Returning to Puno in the afternoon.

DAY 10.- BUS RIDE TO CUSCO
Leaving Puno behind, we take a 7-hour bus ride through the Andes to Cusco Capital of the Inca Empire located at 3340 meters above sea level

DAY 11.- CITY TOUR

Today we have a visit to one of the unmissable circuits in the city of Cusco. We will visit Sacsayhuaman and its impressive cyclopean walls, some of which weigh more than 100 metric tons, Qenqo, which was a ceremonial place where the mummification of the Inca kings was probably practiced, Tambomachay and its beautiful water sources that are still a mystery where they come from
DAY 12.- SACRED VALLEY (PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO)

Today we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, this circuit lasts approximately 9 hours, we will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac with its huge terraces and the largest pre-Columbian cemetery found in these parts. In the afternoon we will go to Ollantaytambo, on the way we will enjoy the beautiful views of the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo is a living Inca city with impressive architecture.
DAY 13.- INCA TRAIL/HUAYLLABAMBA
You will be picked up early from your hotel in Cusco to drive to Piscacucho, where we will begin our first day of hiking. At this point we meet our cooks, porters and camp staff before embarking on this famous “Inca Trail” which was built over 500 years ago, the first day involves a walk of approximately five to six hours. During the first hours of walking, we follow the course of the famous Urubamba River before stopping to admire the archaeological site of Patallacta 2750m – an ancient Inca city built on a series of terraces below the path. From here we continue following the narrow valley of the Cusichaca River to camp at one of the camps near the town of Huayllabamba 3100m – We will walk approximately 12 km (5-6 hours). *Important: Please note that due to the regulations of the Peruvian authorities regarding the Inca Trail, there may be changes in the actual itinerary of the trek and in the camps that we use.

DAY 14.- INCA TRAIL/PACAYMAYO
After breakfast, we begin the most difficult part of the trek, we continue ascending through this narrow valley on the left bank of the river, whose source is one of the great glaciers of the snowy Salcantay, then we begin the steep climb to our first pass, Warmihuañusca, which is also the highest point of the trip at 4,215m – after a break in the pass and time to enjoy the spectacular views, we will descend steeply into the Pacaymayo Valley 3,500m – where we will spend our second night on the Inca Trail. We will walk approximately 11 km (6-7 hours).

DAY 15.-INCA TRAIL/ WIÑAYHUAYNA
Today is the longest day (nine hours of walking) but also the most impressive and interesting due to the number of archaeological sites and cloud forest that we will find while we walk. After breakfast at our camp in Pacaymayo we start our ascent towards the small but impressive ruins of Runkuraqay and on to Cochapata, just below the second pass at 3,900m – from here we walk the short distance to the pass and then descend past a mysterious little green lake to the fabulous ruins of Sayacmarca and to the last pass at 3,800m – which looks more like a low ridge line than a true pass. From here we have a great view towards the forested gorge of the Urubamba River located more than 1500 meters below us, a short hike from here takes us to the Phuyupatamarca pass at 3,700m – aptly named the “City on the clouds”, we walk along an incredibly well-preserved section of the Inca Trail with great walls of white granite slabs and stairs, all impressively nestled in the high jungle to our final campsite at Wiñayhuayna 2680m – We will walk approximately 16 km (8-9 hours).
Night: Camping.
DAY 16.- INCA TRAIL/MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast, we walk the last few kilometers to finally reach Inti Punku (The Sun Gate), imposingly perched above the “lost city” of Machu Picchu 2,400m – The first sight of the ruins really takes your breath away! We will enjoy a guided tour of the sanctuary followed by time to explore this fascinating site at your own pace (accompanied by the guide). Then we descend by bus to Aguas Calientes town for lunch (at your own expense, there are many options to choose from), in the afternoon or early evening we will leave Machu Picchu for the train ride back to Ollantaytambo where we will transfer to our vehicle for the trip back to Cusco. Depending on the train schedules, we may arrive in Cusco at night.
OPTIONAL CLIMBING HUAYNA PICCHU OR CLIMBING MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN – For the more adventurous, you can purchase an additional permit for Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (ask for costs), and waive the guided tour of Machu Picchu, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. . Please note that this is NOT a guided option and it takes a minimum of 3 hours to return. Both climbs are very steep (including many small, narrow steps) and can be slippery and are very exposed with dizzying drops. Before purchasing the permit on your behalf (non-refundable and non-transferable), we require all passengers to sign a waiver form.
Note: there are limited permits for Huayna Picchu and for Machu Picchu Mountain and they sell out quickly, if you are interested in this option or wish to stay an extra day we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
DAY 17.- FREE DAY IN CUSCO

Today you have the opportunity to visit this incredible city, full of many interesting places, very colorful and scenic, a day to relax and have fun, Cusco has very good restaurants, colonial mansions, churches, archaeological sites, craft markets and many more things.
Tonight, and after dinner you will go out on a small boat excursion where we will be able to appreciate the millions of stars that cover us since there is no pollution in this place and we will delight ourselves with the sound of insects.
DAY 18.- VININCUNCA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Very close to the city of Cusco is the amazing Rainbow Mountain or also called the mountain of 7 colors. Get ready to enjoy this natural wonder located deep in the Andes.

DAY 19.- FLIGHT TO LIMA
